Imaging Sports Injuries: Perspectives from Brazil and North America

Experts in imaging from the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging and ARRS will present on various aspects of sport injuries. This forum will include discussion of Brazil's experiences with Olympic and World Cup athletics.

Learning Outcomes

 At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:​

  • Identify the best imaging technique to assist clinical colleagues in diagnosing MSK injuries and conditions.
  • Compare injury patterns of skeletally immature vs mature athletes
  • Identify specific MSK injury concerns for active females.
  • Understand changes in imaging protocol timelines for the elite or high demand athlete.
