HRCT: The Basics & Advanced

Experts will review basic patterns of HRCT with a focus on using an approach to generate a concise differential diagnosis and will examine conditions diagnosed on HRCT.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Summarize the different patterns of micronodules.
  2. Interpret a differential diagnosis based on the patterns of micronodules.
  3. Describe and illustrate the characteristic clinical features, pathologic findings, and HRCT imaging manifestations of diffused lung diseases related to cigarette smoking.
  4. Explain the limitations of imaging in diagnosing mining related pneumoconiosis.
