About the Program

CEDP Level 2 is 2 day course program intended for educators who are at least six years from training and have six to fifteen years of teaching experience. Completion of CEDP Level 1 is preferred but not required. For individuals who have completed CEDP Level 1, we recommend considering CEDP Level 2 approximately three years after completion of Level 1. Often individuals will be of the associate professor rank, though promotion pathways differ between institutions therefore a specific rank is not a requirement to apply to CEDP Level 2.

Accepted participants must register for the ARRS Annual Meeting and must be ARRS Members in good standing at the time the nomination is submitted.

This course is limited to 30 participants. Chairs at medical schools and affiliated hospitals are invited to nominate candidates for this new program. No more than TWO nominees per institution may be submitted.

Attendees will be asked to register at websites and review short videos prior to the start of the program, and to bring a current CV. A laptop is required for this course.

A $1,800 stipend will be issued to the accepted nominee's institution after the program to offset the expenses associated with the candidate's attendance in the program and the ARRS Annual Meeting.

The Clinician Educator Development Program is funded by The Roentgen Fund® of the ARRS.
