From Award to Practice-Changing Publications

What happens after the award? Just ask 2022 award recipient Derek L. Nguyen, MD. His Fund-supported research has led to two major publications in the AJR that are tangibly improving breast imaging and helping patients avoid unnecessary surgery.

Investing in Our People: Clinician Educator Development Program

The ARRS Clinician Educator Development Program equips radiologists with the skills and confidence to teach and inspire future generations. This immersive, one-day experience combines practical instruction with collaboration among peers and mentors. Participants learn innovative approaches to teaching and return to their institutions ready to lead change in medical education.

The program continues with an all-new CEDP Level 2, where experienced educators gain skills to refine their leadership and mentoring abilities. Your support ensures lasting impact through stronger teachers, better training, and improved patient care across the field.

Launching Academic Careers: SPARC

Sparking and Promoting Academic Radiology Careers (SPARC) is a new three-day program that launched this year to introduce residents to the immense opportunities in academic radiology. Led by top faculty, SPARC provides mentorship, networking, and practical guidance on everything from building a CV to finding the right job. Your support helps ignite and sustain the next generation of academic leaders.
