Max Wintermark

Dr. Max Wintermark is a neuroradiologist with a specific interest and expertise in stroke, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, movement disorders and psychiatric disorders. He received his training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland followed by a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He has a degree in biomedical engineering from the Swiss federal Institute of technology, a master in clinical research from the University of San Francisco, and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Dr. Wintermark worked as a faculty at the University of California, San Francisco, at the University of Virginia, and is  currently a Professor of Radiology and the Chief of Neuroradiology at the Stanford University.
