Donor Spotlights

Thank you to these contributors whose outstanding generosity to The Roentgen Fund® supports the future of radiology.

Erik K. Paulson MD

It’s an easy decision for me to give back to our society: The ARRS has provided an academic home and educational resource since I was a resident, and in 1997, I was fortunate to be selected to serve as an AJR Melvin M. Figley Fellow, which was a formative experience. My support is an expression of gratitude.

Mark S. Parker, MD

It is both a privilege and honor to be a long-standing member of the American Roentgen Ray Society. The ARRS was the very first radiologic society that welcomed me to diagnostic radiology during my residency training. It is even more of a privilege to contribute to the same society that afforded me my very first lecture opportunity at a national meeting many years ago. I have always considered the ARRS to be my personal and professional society. Cindy, my wife, and I are honored to support the Educational, Scientific and Research goals of the ARRS as our society continues its mission to advance excellence in medicine through radiologic imaging. We hope our contributions to the Roentgen Fund will afford young radiologists in-training and junior faculty the opportunities to positively shape the growth of our specialty for many years.

In memory of: My grandparents Benjamin and Evelyn Parker, Byron and Helen Costomiris

In honor of Melissa L. Rosado de Christenson, MD, my very first mentor in Thoracic Imaging

David R. Pennes, MD

ARRS has always been my preferred radiological society because of the superb educational offerings, and the informal ambience of the well-run annual meeting. I regard AJR as the go-to source for articles pertinent to in-the-trenches needs of practicing radiologists.

Srini Tridandapani, PhD, MD, MBA

I’m grateful for the multiple career building opportunities that the Roentgen Fund has provided me including the ARRS scholarship. The cycle is now getting complete: I’m excited that my contributions will support a small part of my mentee—Steven Rothenberg’s, ARRS scholarship this year.

Christine M. Glastonbury, MBBS & H.Michael Feldman

Donating to the Roentgen Fund is a small way that I can help to support the continued development of Radiology as we strive to be better at diagnosing, treating and caring for our patients. I am so impressed by the wealth of creativity, hard work and perseverance evident in awards submissions and at the annual meeting.
